About Tay

Tay is a filmmaker, photographer, and community organiser whose work weaves together creativity and justice. With a passion for environmental justice, mental health, the arts, and community engagement, they use their multidisciplinary skills to tell stories that envision and imagine regenerative, just futures, with a focus on voices often left at the margins. Their practice is shaped by a commitment to climate and social justice, drawing inspiration from everyday acts of care and resistance. Whether behind a camera, facilitating workshops, or building community, Tay works with curiosity, warmth, and a deep belief in collective imagination as a tool for change.

Principles + Access

My creative practice is rooted in care, justice and solidarity. Please keep these principles in mind when working with me:

I am pro-trans, pro-Palestine, and committed to social and climate justice.

I am a carer and this sometimes means slower replies to emails, and I appreciate patience.

I have a chronic pain condition and may need regular breaks during shoots to work sustainably.

I won’t take on projects that conflict with my ethics (for example, greenwashing or work that harms communities).

I’m glad to discuss any access needs you or your team may have, so we can create a supportive working environment together! For me, creativity is inseparable from care, respect and collaboration; the process matters as much as the outcome.
